Walnut Pencil Holder

I had a peace of 12x4x4 walnut I got from turningblank.net. I was not sure what to do with this piece and decided that a Walnut Pencil Holder would be the ideal candidate. I rub turned it and then let it dry for 6 weeks or so. Then I finished it with a Tung oil finish. There were some cracks in the wood but I did nit even bother to fill it since it just a pencil holder. Was a quick and fun project.
