A Simple Solution
In today’s environment where everything is manufactured in China and is in most cases less expensive to bay than to make, all thou the quality in the joinery might not be completely what you where looking. We have a Oak shop that has Freshly imported furniture from china, they are fairly price but often they have rejects that have something very simple to repair that you can get for a steel. I was wondering around the place a couple of months ago and stumble upon two solid oak chairs. i got them both for $50 and they base some problems, mainly they are assemble wrong and the seat pan needed to be straitened. Took me about a hour fix both of them and they are now two very solid chairs. I use one for my son Simple oak ply desk and the other one is used in the study.
